Exal has a specialist team who have perfected the art of dismantling and relocating tunnel and glasshouses. This team travels anywhere in New Zealand to meticulously stack, pack and categorize the houses so they can be returned to their former glory at a new location. This is no easy task as some of the older houses have become obsolete and extreme care is needed not to lose or damage such materials. However, with Exal’s vast experience and full manufacturing workshop nothing is impossible to fix, remake or adapt in these rare cases. Exal has developed its own techniques of packing sea containers onsite and devanning at the other end to help minimize the cost of freight. Because some of the very old structures and glass do not meet some of today’s engineering requirements Exal works closely with engineers to minimize and manufacture cost effective solutions. Exal has its own off shore glass supplier as well.
